Hey there, ambitious women! It’s April 1st, and while the internet is buzzing with April Fool’s jokes about #quitting, let’s take a moment to get real. Leaving the security of a corporate job can feel like stepping into the unknown, and the overwhelm of what to do first can be daunting, especially if you haven’t given yourself the time to think about your next move.

As someone who’s been in your shoes, I understand the dread of Mondays – the anxiety that starts to build on Sunday night, the exhaustion of having to put on your big girl pants and charge through the day with never-ending Zoom calls, while the emails and to-do’s of running the business pile up. The “hustle culture,” as it’s been affectionately named, is not only old but it’s wearing us highly ambitious women out!

The Connection Between Empowerment and Autoimmunity

My dear friend Sara Hirsh Bordo recently published a thought-provoking study on Autoimmunity and the Good Girls, the first sociological survey exploring the intersection of empowerment and autoimmunity in American women. This study really hit home for me because since leaving corporate, all of my autoimmune issues have vanished. I shed over 30 pounds from releasing the constant stress, and I finally don’t feel “on edge” or “burnt out” after being on a 3-week road warrior schedule.

It was the life I had worked my entire career towards, but it was slowly eating me from the inside out. At first, I felt stuck and froze at the idea of giving up the comforts of corporate life, including the steady paychecks, the benefits, and “perks.”

Introducing the 9toThrive Pathway: Your Guide to Confident Entrepreneurship

But lucky for me, I’ve worked in the wealth industry for 20 years and had a solid yoga and meditation practice for just as long, so I knew what it would take to make the leap. I realized about three months ago, most women in corporate don’t have the same support or guidance, so – guess who went to work to figure it out on their behalf?!

Today marks my ultimate April Fool’s Day prank on corporate as I officially launch my 9toThrive Pathway coaching community. This space is dedicated to helping women in corporate confidently navigate the path from corporate life to fulfilling entrepreneurship or meaningful work with financial planning, strategy, and all the tools and support you need to create a solid foundation for your future.

So, if you’ve been thinking about taking the leap to rewrite your story, join me on the journey. Get in contact with us for your FREE personalized Success Roadmap and follow me for more updates and insights on how to thrive outside the 9-to-5 grind.

It’s time to flip the script and create the life you truly desire!
